Robert M. Lucky

Biography

Robert was born and raised in the small town of Greensboro, Alabama. Robert attended The University of Alabama and the University of Central Florida. During his undergraduate career, he began working in the legal field as a paralegal primarily in the fields of criminal and family law. In 1999, he graduated from UCF with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. Robert then moved to Baton Rouge to attend law school at LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While at LSU, he earned a position on the law center’s Moot Court Board based on his excellent writing and persuasive arguing skills. He also participated in numerous activities and courses that later would help him when challenging and fighting large insurance companies for his clients.

Following graduation from LSU in 2002, Robert began his career with a large firm fighting for those who had been injured at the fault of another and who deserved just compensation for their damages. While at the large firms, they both learned much about handling injury cases, but came to a real understanding that often the client got lost among the large numbers of clients and the red tape of a large company. That red tape often delayed and frustrated them as well as the clients. In 2010, Robert and Michael left the large firm behind and opened TLLF. Their goal was and continues to be personal interaction with all clients. Today, Robert represents his clients just as zealously as he did when he began his career.

Robert is an avid fan of college football and of the New Orleans Saints. He currently serves on the board of directors for the A. C. Lewis YMCA and the Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center. He has been on the board for the YMCA since 2016 and BRCAC since 2020. The work of both of these organizations is near and dear to Robert’s heart as they both directly affect the community and the well-being of the children and youth of the area.
